Actress Anne Heche has fallen into a coma and remains in “ extreme critical condition ” days after she crashed her auto into a Los Angeles home, causing both to erupt into dears, a representative told news outlets on Monday.

“ She has a significant pulmonary injury taking mechanical ventilation and becks that bear surgical intervention,

” Michael McConnell, a Heche representative, told Reuters and other news outlets.

“ She's in a coma and has not recaptured knowledge since shortly after the accident. ”

On Friday around 1055a.m., a auto crashed into a home in the Mar Vista neighborhood, causing a “ heavy fire, ” the Los Angeles Fire Department said.

Heche, 53, was pulled from the auto, a Mini Cooper, and transported to a sanitarium.

It took 59 firefighters and 65 twinkles to extinguish the blaze, which caused major damage, according to the fire department.

A woman was inside the home during the crash but wasn't injured, CNN reported.

A GoFundMe crusade has been set up for the woman, who “ lost her entire continuance of effects, ” according to the fundraiser statement.
