Even though the summer transfer season is about to close, Real Madrid's business still appears to be ongoing.

Strangely, despite having a glaring shortage of choices in various parts of the field, it does not appear like the club is interested in bringing anyone in.

On the other hand, a number of players might still be leaving the Santiago Bernabeu exit before the time limit expires.

Among them is Marco Asensio. With only one year remaining on his present contract and the fact that he currently appears to be far from being a starter,

an exit makes sense. He was not substituted even while Real Madrid was frantically trying to score against Espanyol, which only serves to highlight his current predicament.

With only a few days left in the summer transfer window, it is currently unknown if Asensio will be able to arrange a move away from the club.

Real Madrid is rumoured to be seeking a transfer fee for the Spaniard in the neighbourhood of €30 million.

The prospect of the winger leaving has been confirmed by Carlo Ancelotti.

Fabrizio Romano claimed on his YouTube channel that Asensio's agent is pitching the player to Premier League clubs.
