Because Winnie the Pooh is coming from you, you should have his honey on hand.

The gory trailer for Rhys Frake-dark Waterfield's adaptation of the beloved children's book character Winnie the Pooh exposed the bear's real animalistic instincts.

Pooh (Craig David Dowsett) and Piglet (Chris Cordell) are the main characters in "Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey," who have been living without food for years because Christopher Robin (Nikolai Leon) has grown up and forgotten about them.

After devouring Eeyore, the pair are introduced to Christopher's new wife without him recognising that they have become "increasingly ravenous and ferocious" while he has been away.

On Dread Central's "Development Hell" podcast, director Frake-Waterfield said, "They get outraged when they meet him, and all of their animosity that they've built up over the years explodes and they go on this rampage.

It's not simply two people in masks; it's certainly Pooh and Piglet.

According to the plot, they launched this assault because they were rather incensed by what had occurred to Christopher.

Due to the copyright expiration earlier this year, "Winnie the Pooh" became public domain,

and the gruesome, gory horror movie adaptation of the beloved characters has since gained popularity.

May Kelly, Natasha Tosini, Amber Doig-Thorne, and Richard D. Myers are also featured in the cast.
